Why should I purchase wines from THE SMITH
Convenience: THE SMITH is a direct-to-consumer wine brand; bottled by us, and shipped directly to your doorstep.
We produce delicious, well-balanced fruit-forward wines:
- Cabernet Savingnon, Paso Robles 2019: This full-bodied Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex synergy of ripe berry flavors and spices, aged for 8 months in French oak. This results in a fruit-forward and velvetly smooth finish giving a lush mouthful of cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant flavors.
- Red Blend, California 2019: This California Red Blend is an optimal medley of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Ruby Red, aged for 6 months in french oak. This well-balanced, medium-body wine has a vivid red color, luscious dark fruit flavor with well-rounded tannins. Rich tasting notes of ripe black cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, and cloves; blended perfectly for a elegant, soft finish.

THE SMITH Wine Club gives you exclusive access to great discounts on wines delivered to your door in 4 shipments. Each shipment includes an even number of our 2019 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon & our 2019 California Red Wine Blend. Cancel anytime
Is THE SMITH a sustainable brand?
Yes! THE SMITH is committed to the pursuit of ecologically sound practices in the production process of premium quality varietal wines.
The grapes used to make our wines come from vineyards that are commited to sustainable and organic farming methods. These methods consist of minimal use of non-organic fertilizer and avoidance of pesticides and herbicides. Sulfite levels in the wines are kept to a minimum to maintain the high quality of the wines.
Our packaging is also “green” oriented as all glass bottles are produced with 75% recycled glass and our cases are made from 85% post-consumer recycled paper. Our labels are made from 30% post-consumer waste content, and is certified FSC (Forest Stewardship Counsil).
Orders, Shipping and delivery information
How long will it take to process my order?
All orders are processed within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped, which will include a tracking number.
How long will it take to ship my order?
Standard shipping nationwide via FedEx Ground, which takes 1-5 days nationwide, and 3-7 days to Alaska & Hawaii.
After my order is shipped, how do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 8 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at concierge@thesmithwines.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Do you ship to all 50 states?
We ship to 44 states. Unfortunately, we're currently unable to ship to Delaware, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, & Utah.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship exclusively in the U.S. As we continue to grow, we will look to expand internationally.
Is an adult signature required for my wine delivery?
Someone 21+ years of age must be home to sign for the shipment of wine.
What do I do if I recieve the wrong item? Or if my bottle is damaged?
We strongly advise you to inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the bottle arrived broken, or if you receive the wrong item. In either of these instances, we will evaluate and work to replace the damaged or missing bottle.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, Diner's Club, Apple Pay, Google Pay & Meta Pay. In addition, we accept PayPal options.
We also accept Shop Pay (Powered by Shopify). Shop Pay makes checking out faster for you by securely saving your shipping and payment details.
Refund policy
Do you offer refunds?
Returns/Refunds
Unfortunately we do not accept returns. However, in the case that the bottle arrived broken, or if you receive the wrong item, we will evaluate the issue and make it right.
