ORDERS, SHIPPING AND DELIVERY INFORMATION

How long will it take to process my order?

Please be advised that order payment processing and order fulfillment are facilitated through a 3rd party licensed alcohol retailer.

All wine orders are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped, which will include a tracking number.

If it has been more than 3 business days and you have not received a tracking email, please contact orders@thesmithwines.com for assistance.

Wine, merch and wineware all ship separately, as they are fulfilled from different warehouses. Processing time for merch is 1-3 business days. There will be longer fulfillment and delivery time during the holiday season for merch orders.

For wineware, we partnered with KHEN and Viski. They fulfill and ship all orders placed on our website. Below are their shipping policies.

KHEN Shipping Policy:

1. Processing Time:

  • Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipping within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
  • Custom or personalized orders may require additional processing time.

2. Shipping Methods:

  • We offer a variety of shipping options to meet your needs, including standard, expedited, and international shipping.
  • Shipping rates and estimated delivery times for each method will be displayed during the checkout process.

3. Shipping Destinations:

  • We currently ship to addresses within United States.
  • If you require shipping to a destination not listed, please contact our customer support for assistance.

4. Shipping Costs:

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination, weight, and dimensions of your order.
  • You can review and confirm shipping costs before finalizing your purchase during checkout.

5. Estimated Delivery Times:

  • Estimated delivery times vary based on the shipping method selected and the destination.
  • Please note that these are approximate times, and delays may occur due to factors beyond our control.

6. Tracking Information:

  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.
  • You can track your package's progress using the provided tracking number.

7. International Shipping:

  • International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their respective countries.
  • Please be aware that international shipments may be subject to additional delays due to customs processing.

8. Shipping Restrictions:

  • Some products may have specific shipping restrictions or may not be available for international shipping due to legal or logistical reasons. Any such restrictions will be mentioned on the product pages.

9. Lost or Stolen Packages:

  • In the unfortunate event that your package is lost or stolen, please contact us as soon as possible. We will assist you in resolving the issue and working with the shipping carrier to locate your package.

Viski Shipping Policy:

Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing, and an additional 1-4 business days for expedited shipping or 5-7 business days for ground, depending on the shipping option you selected at checkout.

Standard Next Day - 1 business day
Standard Two-Day - 2 business days
Standard Three-Day - 3 business days
Standard Ground (Continental US) - 5 to 7 business days
Standard Ground (HI & AK) - 7 to 14 business days

Some orders may ship faster or slower depending on proximity to our Indiana warehouse.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Wine: Standard delivery nationwide, 1-7 business days. 1-2 business days in CT

Merch: Standard delivery nationwide, 4-7 days

After my order is shipped, how do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

What states do you ship to?

WINE - Our wines are shipped nationwide, but unfortunately, shipping can be restricted in some states due to alcohol legal restrictions.

We do not ship to Puerto Rico.

MERCH - Ships to all 50 states

WINEWARE - Ships to all 50 states

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship exclusively in the U.S. As we continue to grow, we will look to expand internationally.

What are your shipping rates?

Our shipping rate is a low flat rate shipping fee of $10 for all orders containing 1-5 bottles of wine. We offer free shipping for all orders of 6 or more bottles.

Free shipping for all merch.

Is an adult signature required for my wine delivery?

Someone 21+ years of age must be home to sign for the shipment of wine. Please plan accordingly by entering a shipping address that will allow someone 21 years or older to be available in person to sign for the package. Please keep a valid form of ID on hand.

Carriers will not leave packages containing alcohol unattended, even if you have a signature on file. If you are not able to be at home to receive your wine during normal business hours, we recommend having it shipped to your place of work.

What do I do if I recieve the wrong item? Or if my bottle is damaged?

We strongly advise you to inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the bottle arrived broken, or if you receive the wrong item. In either of these instances, we will evaluate and work to replace the damaged or missing bottle.

What are the shipping rates and delivery times for Merch?

We offer free flat rate shipping on all merch. Flat Rate (Standard) takes 4-7 business days after your order has been processed.

BILLING INFORMATION

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, Diner's Club, & Apple Pay.

We also accept Shop Pay (Powered by Shopify). Shop Pay makes checking out faster for you by securely saving your shipping and payment details.

REFUND POLICY

Do you offer refunds?

Returns/Refunds
Unfortunately we do not accept returns for wine. However, in the case that the bottle arrived broken, or if you receive the wrong item, we will evaluate the issue and make it right.

For Merch, any issues regarding misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 15 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 15 days after the estimated delivery date.

For any other issues not listed above, please contact us directly, so we can evaluate the issue.
